Headline Responsibilities

  • The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards and customer expectations. This role involves conducting inspections, tests, and audits, as well as implementing quality control procedures to maintain the highest levels of product integrity and safety

Requirements

  • Qualification: National Diploma: Food technology or Biotechnology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Skill: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Proficient in using quality control instruments and software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication Skills: Update staff on new changes of procedures and records. Reporting of Non-conformances and correctives actions.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as GMP.
  • People skills: this role requires working with a number of stakeholders in a constantly changing environment.
  • Attitude: A positive, can-do (pun intended) attitude is absolutely required. There are no problems, only opportunities to find solutions.

Salary: CTC is R10K – R15k pm, negotiable depending on experience.

Hours: Full-time position (Monday- Friday including weekends on occasion)
